Stakeholder Advisory Committee
The Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) of the Northwest Climate Science Center (NW CSC) is comprised of representatives from key state, federal, and tribal resource management agencies in the Northwest region. Members of SAC meet regularly to help identify science needs and establish priorities to ensure that NW CSC-funded science is ultimately useful, relevant, and of value to the regional management of cultural and natural resources. SAC also provides crucial feedback on the effectiveness of the NW CSC's overall program. Richard Ferrero, the U.S. Geological Survey Northwest Regional Director, currently serves as chair of SAC. Other members have been nominated by their respective agencies and/or tribes.
