The Northwest Climate Science Center (NW CSC) will hold its annual Climate Bootcamp August 11-16 at Silver Falls State Park in Silverton, Oregon.  Climate Bootcamp provides intensive professional development for CSC graduate students and early career professionals.  Its goal is to prepare fellows for successful careers by providing knowledge and abilities in science education, science communication, knowledge integration and the science-policy interface, all in a climate change and adaptation context, through a concentrated session of formal and non-formal education, skill development, and interaction with practicing professionals.  Now in its fourth year, the CBC 2014 will include 25 NW CSC graduate fellows, at least one graduate students from each of the other seven CSCs (except the SW), six early career professionals from federal and state agencies and four representatives from NW tribes.  For more information visit https://nwclimatescience.org/bootcamp or contact Josh Foster at jfoster@coas.oregonstate.edu.
